LOOPER’S ESCAPE: DAILY / UPDATED 6 NOVEMBER 2026
Terms of Use
These terms explain the use of Looper’s Escape: Daily (the game), including its optional Premium purchase and online features. They are provided by Matthew James Smith, an individual trading as Matrie Game Studio (“we”, “us” or “our”). Matrie Game Studio is a trading name, not a separate limited company.
Contact: matriegamestudio@gmail.com. For information about personal data, read our separate game privacy policy. Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights that consumer law gives you.
1. Playing the game
We give you permission to install and play a legitimately obtained copy of the game for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these terms and the rules of the app store you use. You need a compatible device and any permissions required by your device or store. Follow the age rating and eligibility rules displayed by the store. If you cannot legally authorise a purchase, ask a parent or guardian to do so.
The daily game offers one scored attempt per cycle, with Looper and Loopey each having a life. The daily cycle resets at midnight UTC. Unscored practice, the Holo Suite and Nightmare have the unlock conditions shown in the game. Practice does not replace a daily leaderboard score. Medals, stars, scores and other rewards are game achievements; they have no cash value and are not redeemable prizes.
2. Free play, adverts and Premium
The game is free to download, with advertising and an optional one-time Premium purchase. There is no Premium subscription. The store shows the price, currency, applicable taxes and purchase confirmation before you pay.
Premium removes banner adverts and bypasses rewarded adverts for practice and Holo Suite unlocks and assistance, including Nightmare suit charging. It does not remove the gameplay requirements for medals or Nightmare, remove hint penalties, or provide an extra scored daily attempt. The advertised Premium benefits form part of what you purchase.
Rewarded adverts are a choice. Their purpose and reward are shown before you choose them. Rewards require successful completion and confirmation by the advertising service; an interrupted or unavailable advert may not provide a reward. If a completed advert fails to give the stated reward, contact us so we can investigate. Ad availability can vary by region, connection and provider. See Advertising & Premium for more information.
3. Purchases, restoration and refunds
Purchases are processed by your app store and are also subject to its applicable payment terms. Use the game’s restore-purchases option with the store account that bought Premium if you reinstall or change a compatible device. A purchase on one store does not automatically entitle you to Premium on a different store.
For purchase or restoration problems, email us with your game version and relevant order reference. Never send a password or full payment-card details. You can also use your store’s support and refund process: Google Play refunds.
Refunds, cancellation rights and remedies are governed by applicable consumer law and the store’s policies. Starting a digital download or activating digital content may affect a change-of-mind cancellation right only where the legally required consent and acknowledgement have been obtained. This does not remove your rights if content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements. We do not operate a blanket “no refunds” policy.
4. Fair play and player names
Play fairly. Do not submit fabricated scores, tamper with online records, exploit faults to manipulate rankings, bypass payment or advert-reward checks, disrupt the service, or access someone else’s data or backup code. This does not restrict activity that applicable law expressly permits.
Choose a player name that does not contain harassment, hateful or unlawful content, personal information about another person, or misleading impersonation. Player names and scores may appear publicly on leaderboards. You can report an inappropriate name through the game or contact us.
We may remove invalid scores, moderate inappropriate names or restrict access to affected online features where reasonably necessary to protect players and fair competition. We will act proportionately and, where practicable, explain a restriction. Contact us if you believe a decision was mistaken. Such action does not automatically cancel a valid Premium purchase or remove your statutory rights.
5. Progress, backups and connectivity
The game normally stores progress on your device. Its optional backup-code feature can help restore supported progress. Keep the code private and safe: it can provide access to the progress associated with it. Do not post it publicly or share another player’s code.
Uninstalling the game, clearing its data, losing a device or changing devices can result in lost local progress. Purchase restoration and progress restoration are different features. We will try to help with support requests, but cannot promise to recover data that is no longer available.
Gameplay can work offline. Leaderboards, purchases, advert-powered rewards and online backups require connectivity as described in the game. Some unlocks must have been charged before you go offline. Online synchronisation and third-party services may be delayed or temporarily unavailable.
6. Updates and availability
We may provide updates to fix faults, maintain security and compatibility, improve accessibility, adjust balance or add features. Store and device settings determine how updates are delivered. Where law requires updates or another remedy, these terms do not remove that obligation.
Online features may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems or events outside our reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted online availability. If we propose a material change to a paid feature or discontinuation of a service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and any remedy required by law. We will not use these terms to take away purchased benefits without regard to your consumer rights.
7. Game content and sharing
The game’s software, characters, artwork, music and branding are protected by intellectual-property rights belonging to us or the relevant rights holders, where applicable. Playing does not transfer ownership of those rights. Third-party components are described on the licences page.
You may share your own gameplay screenshots, gameplay videos and generated share cards, including monetised reviews or streams, provided you do not misrepresent them as official studio communications, distribute the game itself, or reuse third-party material beyond the rights available to you. This permission does not include selling standalone copies of the game’s artwork or soundtrack.
8. Your legal rights and our responsibility
We will provide the game and any paid content with the care and quality required by applicable law. Depending on your country and the circumstances, faulty or misdescribed digital content may entitle you to a repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or another remedy. Store policies apply in addition to, not instead of, mandatory legal rights.
We do not exclude responsibility for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. We remain responsible for loss or damage where applicable law makes us responsible. Nothing here requires you to waive statutory rights or accept compulsory arbitration.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for changes to the game, services or legal requirements. The date above identifies this version. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and seek agreement where legally required. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights relating to an existing purchase. If you disagree with a change, contact us to discuss your options, including any remedies required by law.
10. Questions and complaints
Email matriegamestudio@gmail.com with a description of the issue, your device model, game version and any relevant order reference. We will investigate and try to resolve it. Please do not send passwords, public backup codes or full payment-card details.
These terms do not prevent you from seeking help from your app store, a consumer-advice service or an appropriate court. Any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available to you under the law of your country of residence remain unaffected.
